★★★★★ Just Wheying In
Protein powder supplementation has been a staple in my daily routine ever since it became an option. I’ve used many different types, and for the most part, have been rather content in my choices.
As clever marketing, flashy advertising, and overall nutritional options have flooded the market, it’s been a grind to assess various products legitimacy, see past the BS, and pick a protein.
After trying this I’m confident that I’ve found the right option, the healthiest, and the best bang for your buck.
The nutritional breakdown is solid, the taste is sweet, and the viscosity is smooth.
I’d recommend looking past reviews complaining about certain subjective matters. Allow my review to serve as the objective and absolute truth. I’m kidding (but kinda not.)
While it’s theoretically possible someone may have received a “bad batch,” I’m more inclined to conclude certain people expect literal vanilla ice cream in a protein powder form. Sorry, but you’re not going to find a supplement that includes the vast array of nutrients that serves as a desert.
The fact that I’m/you’re getting copious amounts of high quality protein, vitamins, minerals, while tasting as good as it does, is simply amazing. All to say, majority of the complaints shouldn’t necessarily be directed at a flawed product because it’s ultimately just flawed expectations. It’s a high quality protein, includes high quality vitamins/minerals, mixes similar or better than any other powder, and is exactly as described on the product photos and description. I’m more than satisfied and think you’ll enjoy this supplement as much as I do.”
★★★★★… they have and toasted coconut is BY FAR the best. I’ve also tried creamy vanilla and dutch chocolate
I’ve order 3 of the many flavors they have and toasted coconut is BY FAR the best. I’ve also tried creamy vanilla and dutch chocolate. Creamy vanilla and dutch chocolate were not near as good as toasted coconut, but still edible. They both taste like your average vanilla or chocolate protein but less sweet than most. Toasted coconut has a very sweet taste, I had to cut back on the serving size because it was almost overwhelming for me. My husband who despises all things coconut actually liked toasted coconut if that says anything. I am typically not very picky when it comes to the taste of proteins I’ve tried pasty vegan proteins and tolerated them, but I am picky when it comes to the ingredients. Isopure has met a lot of my standards in protein.
★★★★★ Good taste
I bought the pound of creamy vanilla just to try it. I mix 2 scoops with about 1/4 cup of heavy cream, tablespoon of MCT oil, few drops of ez sweets and the fill it up with unsweetened vanilla almond milk in my shaker bottle, no lumps mixes well, it’s good and I will be buying the 3lb container for sure.
★★★★★Worst Tasting Flavor of All Time
Just to be clear. I love ISOPURE. It’s this particular flavor though. It is the worst tasting of all the Isopure flavors. It does not taste like Vanilla Cream. It tastes like they took a dirty diaper, fed it to a mastiff, that mastiff took a dump in a prius after Mike and the boys threw a party in the back seat, that prius drove into the back of a manure truck in Hill Valley 1955, a pair of Nike Mags stepped in it and traveled to present day where they scrapped it off the bottom and packaged it as Vanilla Cream. Do not buy this flavor. Pick any flavor than this. And by the way, I haven’t had a Carb since 2004, everyday I lather my abs with Kiehls in the shower, so everything I eat is low carb so I have non subjective taste buds. And this flavor still makes me want to vomit.
★★★★★ If You Do Not Possess Tastebuds and Enjoy Consuming Toxins, This Is For You!
On paper, this seems like a great product. No dairy or gluten, no carbs, no sugar, high protein content.
HOWEVER, this actually has an incredibly low grade on the Clean Label Project, scoring very poorly in the Arsenic/Mercury, Cadmium/Lead, and other toxins categories. It even scored the lowest possible in the “ingredient quality” category. Woof.
But even way before I ever found out about this horrifying score on the CLP, I was mostly shocked by just HOW BAD THIS TASTES. Normally, any unpleasantly-flavored powder can be masked within a smoothie or fruity juice mix. This actually ruined the flavor of my smoothies. That’s how nasty it was.
Please, do yourself a favor and find something else. With so many other powders on the market, the minimum benefits you get from consuming slightly less sugar and carbs are not worth killing your palate and ingesting so many toxic poisons (that could lead to way worse side effects than losing some gainz).
